Oktoberfest Is Here…
For most people, fall means watching the leaves turn, breaking out cold weather sweaters and enjoying the crisp, fall breeze. Here in San Diego, it’s a whole other story as we get our butts kicked by 90+ degree heat!
What better way to stay cool than to come by the (air conditioned) brewery this Thursday and sip on our seasonal, and very limited, Oktoberfest!
This traditional style Marzen is a Bavarian strong amber lager. Our version uses European vienna malt, an amber pilsner malt and Caramunich, a dark roasted German caramel malt. The sweetness of the malt is balanced off by some floral noble hops (Hallertauer, Tettnanger) for a very clean and easy drink brew. ABV 5.5%
We only have a few barrels of this beauty, so get it while it lasts!
