North Park

Thorn Street Brewery in North Park is a great spot for any gathering. From birthday parties to soccer parties, to work events we’ve got you covered. Our back room is large enough to house 30-60 guests with an open-air roof, perfect for our San Diego weather. Gather with your friends and family to celebrate while overlooking our 7-barrel brew system. There is also a bar with 9 taps of your favorite beer and you are welcome to bring in any outside food or grab food from our daily food trucks. This space can be booked for private events or if your guest count is under 30 people, we can reserve a couple of tables for your group. Additionally, this room has A/V capabilities.

Barrio Logan

At Thorn Barrio Logan, our tasting room overlooks our production brewery so you get a great view of all the brewing action. We have 16 rotating taps, daily food trucks and weekly special events along with free Wi-Fi. We also have a spacious outdoor side yard that is a the perfect spot for your event. The event space will hold at least 75 people and we even have an upstairs mezzanine for use in case there is rain on the day of your event. Your guests will enjoy beer from our outside bar with 4 taps and for private events, we can also serve wine. This space is perfect for your wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, corporate events and more.

Barrio Logan Private Event Details:

Our outside event space can be rented for $300 per hour (two-hour minimum) and there is a bar minimum of $300. The price includes a private bartender. The capacity for the space is 40-75.

There is a $100 deposit to reserve the room that is refundable up to two weeks before your event. It can be paid for through PayPal. The rest of the room fee is due the week of the event. I’ll send you a PayPal invoice for both.

We add a 20% gratuity to all checks associated with your party. This is to cover the set up/bartending services/clean-up for your event.

You are welcome to bring in any outside food or catering. I can also give recommendations for caters and food vendors other people have used.

Outside wine is allowed with a $20/bottle corkage fee. You are welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic beverages. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted.

We can also provide drink tickets to your guests so you can cover a specific number of beers before guests pay their own way.

We provide speakers for music and a microphone.

Decorations are allowed as long as no holes are put in the walls. Absolutely NO confetti or glitter.

Dogs and kids are welcome in the brewery. Kids are not permitted in the main tasting room after 8 pm.

The space is available for private parties on during all open hours.

Mission Hills

Thorn Mission Hills is currently available for small parties (reserved tables) or full buy-outs.

Situated in the heart of Mission Hills, our newest tasting room has an outdoor patio, lounge area, plenty of comfortable seating, 16 rotating taps, and even skeeball. Kids and dogs are welcome along with outside food. Reserved seating is available if you contact us ahead of time too.
