The San Diego Natural History Museum comes alive at night for an exclusive 21+ after-hours event, The Secret Society of Adultologists.
Most of us remember our first trip to a natural history museum—marveling at being surrounded by bizarre creatures large and small, appreciating the deep sense of history contained in a dinosaur skeleton, and admiring the idyllic images of Museum scientists from a previous era. The Secret Society of Adultologists has been designed to reinvigorate that initial sense of awe. The entire Museum will be packed with activities giving party-goers a more intimate view of theNAT and an opportunity to see this cabinet of curiosity come to life.
This event brings together science, storytelling, music, craft cocktails, food, and art. Visitors will meet our scientists—who will share treasures from our collection of more than 8 million specimens—and enjoy crafting stations, art installations featuring taxidermy, DJs, special access to a rooftop bar, live animal encounters, and games that will evoke one’s inner explorer.
Tickets are $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Food and drinks available for purchase inside the Museum. Visit sdnat.org for details and tickets.
