We’ve got a very special beer coming your way…Thai Pina Colada Smoothie Sour (6% ABV). Smoothie sours begin as kettle sours then whole fruit purée is added after fermentation at extremely high rates. Often times lactose and other adjuncts are used to help amp up the creamy nature of the beer.
This is our third in our smoothie style sour ale series and is promising to be the best yet! It’s made with ripe pineapple, coconut milk, ginger, and kaffir lime, for a luscious, unique beer.
Flavor Profile: Tart Pineapple and citrusy lime co-mingle with the slight sweetness from the coconut and a little bite from subtle ginger and the end.
